Singer Eedris Abdulkareem revealed an incident from 2004 where American rapper 50 Cent and his entourage allegedly mistreated Nigerian artists, including P-Square, during a concert organized by Nigerian Breweries.
Abdulkareem recounted the incident on The Honest Bunch Podcast, recalling how 50 Cent’s team purportedly expelled Nigerian artists from the backstage at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, on the concert’s first day. He stated that when approached to leave the area, he defiantly refused.
“When they came they asked me to leave that 50 Cent was coming. I said, ‘So what? Please, get the f*ck out of my face.’ They went to report me to one of the organizers, and he told them to leave me alone,” Abdulkareem recounted.
He further alleged that DJ Tee had recorded the altercation between him and 50 Cent’s crew on a plane, but Charly Boy allegedly took the tape to negotiate with Nigerian Breweries, leading to repercussions for Abdulkareem.
“DJ Tee recorded everything that happened between me and 50 Cent’s crew on the plane but Charly Boy took the tape and used it to negotiate with Nigerian Breweries. The bastard blacklisted me,” Abdulkareem claimed. The post 50 Cents, His Bouncers Flogged, Chased Away P-Square, Other Artistes In Lagos – Eedris Reveals first appeared on Newsdirect.
