Nigerians have taken to social media to express divergent views as it was confirmed that their national team will face Cameroon in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The tie was confirmed on Tuesday night after Group C fixtures were concluded.
The Indomitable Lions edged a 3-2 win over Gambia in their final group encounter on Tuesday night.
Cameroon take the lead three times in between Gambia’s first two goals in their history against the Indomitable Lions.
Gambia thought they had equalised again in the 94th minute, only for the goal to be disallowed by handball.
