The Super Eagles are looking to finish top of Group A at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, when they face Guinea-Bissau in their last group match on Monday.
Head coach of the team, Jose Peseiro, has said it is important they finish at the summit.
The three-time champions will keep a date with Guinea-Bissau in their final group game at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on Monday (today).
Nigeria must beat the Djurtus to be certain of finishing top of Group A.
The West Africans will also need Equatorial Guinea to lose or draw against hosts Cote d’Ivoire to achieve their objective.
“We want to take the first place and for that, we must do battle. We must do what is necessary to accomplish our mission tomorrow (today),” Peseiro said during his interaction with the media ahead of the game.
The encounter will kick off at 6pm Nigeria time.
