FG has denied over one thousand mining licenses in Nigeria.

This Nigeria news stage gets it that the Serve of Strong Minerals Improvement, Dele Alake, declared this amid a press briefing on Tuesday in Abuja. He said the licenses of these mineral title holders were repudiated due to disappointment to pay obligatory yearly benefit expenses of N1,500 per cadastral unit. He said,
“The Mining Cadastre Office has prescribed the repudiation of 1,633 mineral titles as takes after: Investigation Permit, 536; Quarry Permit, 279; Little Scale Mining Permit, 787 and Mining Rent, 31. In line with the powers conferred on me by the NMMA 2007, Area 5 (a), I have affirmed the disavowal of the 1,633 titles.” More subtle elements soon…
