Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Aminu Tambuwal has congratulated the newly appointed FMBN, Federal Housing Authority (FHA) CEOs.
President Bola Tinubu approved the reconstitution of the executive management teams of agencies under the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.
According to a letter signed by Tambuwal, it reads;
“In the year under focus, it is important to restate the Senate Committee on Housing and Urban Development’s commitment to working with all stakeholders in the ecosystem in the delivery of affordable housing for millions of Nigerians.
“We would, in addition to performing oversight, give priority to 6 critical factors affecting the accessibility to affordable housing in Nigeria with the view to bridging housing deficits by the government’s target date of 2033.
“To this end, my committee and I would like to use this medium to welcome on board the newly appointed Managing Director/CEO of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), Mr. Shehu Usman Osidi and the Managing Director/CEO of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Hon. Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo.
”We heartily congratulate them on their appoitments by President Bola Tinubu and indulge them to bring to the table their vast experiences in banking and housing industries towards the repositioning of the national housing and urban development sector to meet the present and future needs of Nigerian families nationwide.
